Temma was designed by Rand and Thompson and built at the Goudy and Stevens boat yard in Boothbay Maine back in 1929 – the same year our own Rum Runner II was built. Like Rum Runner II, Temma was built in during an era when style, class and comfort were all in great demand for a personal yacht. In her early life, Temma spent many summers in Boothbay, Maine but today she calls Newport, Rhode Island her home.
Her expansive cockpit lends itself to a comfortable and fun experience. Her shallow draft allows her to go where many boats can only dream of going, and her Perkins marine power plant pushes her through the water at an easy 7 to 9 knots, getting folks where they want to go, on time, and in style.
